having problem on backup exec

Hi experts

   I am using symantec backup exec 11.0

it was fine before i accidently did long erase on one of tape.

then after that tape name was changed to LTO 00023

and when I tried to restore data from the rest of tapes it says 

wasn't found in catalog must first catalog before restore

I did catalog media it takes very long and unfinished

what should i do to get back on normal

Setting Catalog Options:

Tools --> Options --> Properties --> Settings --> Catalog.

Choose appropriate options and click OK.

It has been resolved .I just quick erased.reused and the tape has been overwritten.can be reused now.
