Mike,

Is this a new install or did this suddenly just happen. you may want to glance at database maintanance under configuration and settings\backup exec settings found under the pearl and check to see how long the job logs are configured to be kept. It is 30 days by default but may have been adjusted.

Are there any actual job logs present under the default location (Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\Data) ? If yes, are you able to open the XML files without any error ?

Are you using a CASO-MMS setup ? If yes, do you have the option to view the job logs at the server where the backup actually ran ? Or at the CASO itself ?

If the job logs have been truncated, or you have migrated a BE installation in such a way that Backup Exec is in a new folder strucure/path then the job logs will be greyed out.

After database maintenance last night, all job logs seem to be back except a few of the most recent
