password protecting tapes... how?

How do i put a password on my tapes?

I have searched for a documnet but all i have come up with is this one:

it does not apply to backupexec 11d as that option does not exist.

How can i do it?

You can't password protect tapes with BE11d. Encryption replaced the ability to protect a tape with a password, though you can still read a password-protected tape.
