removable backup to disk setup

I have a setup where I have 5 usb terabyte drives that we will use. I will have the client plug them in and I will format. I will then setup to backup to disk it wants to pick a drive. How do I make sure tha all teh usb drives use the same drive letter or am I doing this incorectly thanks guys
