My new quantum superloader 3 tape system shows up under single tape device when it should be robotic tape device. Does anyone know how to get this to work?

Have you loaded the veritas drivers for the tape device?

Yes I have. During the device discovery wizard the robotic library arm does not show up, just the stand alone part.

How many drives are in the library? Anything over one drive rquires the Library expansion option.

Hello,

Please check whether the device is detected by Windows?

please check whether the autoloader is "tested" in the list below, if yes then please install latest veritas drivers from the link below:
HCL for Robotic library:
http://support.veritas.com/docs/271383

HCL for stand alone drives:
http://support.veritas.com/docs/271382

VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 9.1 - Device Driver Installer (20050115) - Includes Tape Driver Release (20041231) and Robotic Library Release (45) (Intel Only) http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/273853.htm

If not tested then please install latest manufacturers and then verify the result.
