scheduled backups failed

hi

If I right-click on a scheduled job and select Run Now, the job will complete successfully; even doing a Test Run, it will also complete successfully.

As for letting the job start on schedule, the job will start and fail after a few minutes - not just this particular job, but any scheduled job that I created would fail after a few minutes.

Any idea on how I can fix this is really appreciated.

The server is SBS 2003.

Hi,

Please make the following registry change on Backup Exec (BE) as well as the remote server (if being backed up). Recycle the remote agent service on remote server and all BE services on BE server.

Also, install the latest Veritas tape driver for your tape drive. You can access - support.veritas.com, go to BEWS, cilck on sofware and downloads and install the driver for the version of BE you have.

A test job was created and it seemed to start and proceed beyond the few minutes without fail. I would assume that tonight backup will go through as well.
