upgrading to backup exec 2010 from backup exec 11d

On the central administration server, I ran the preinstall check and got the warning to update 11D.  I ran Live Update, which said it was successful, but the bkupinst.htm's last date is from mid January of 2010.  Should I be concerned? Can I completely uninstall 11D and install 2010 from scratch.?

The last entry in the BKUPINST.HTM is from

01-13-2010,17:41:14 : The patch has completed, but requires a reboot.

The version of BE you currently running is 11.0.6235 and the latest version of 11d is 11.0.7170 so you don't have the latest version of 11d. BE 11.0.6235 cannot be upgraded to BE 2010. The version needs to be 11.0.7170 to upgrade to BE 2010. So first you need to upgrade your BE 11.0.7170 and than it can be upgraded to BE 2010.

I think the LiveUpdate might not be working. You need to check if the LiveUpdate detects the newer version of BE 11.0.7170.

If you plan to uninstall/install BE 2010 from scratch, you need to check how many Managed Media Servers you have and the risk of loosing jobs, policies, catalogs etc.
