using the ghost program

i am not sure if i am in the right place but here it goes. i installed a second hard drive. in an effort to save time i purchase the ghost program to copy the info to the new drive. i now have the information copied. when i turn the pc on it hangs at the windows welcome screen. any ideas why? this is my first time doing this so i appreciate any help i can get. thanks in advance

Hi Donna,

Sorry, this is a forum for Veritas Backup Exec, not Symantec Ghost.

That said, if you ghosted from one hard drive to another, and then tried to boot with both hard drives connected, I would expect the fact they both think they are "C:" is going to cause you an issue.
