what version should I see?

Hi, I wanted to verify I'm running the latest backup exec 9.1 version of everything. After applying sp2 (be4691RSP2_275247.exe) I see the following in help/about:

Version 9.1 Rev 4691

It doesn't say sp2 anywhere. Does this mean that the sp2 failed?

I also wanted to verify I'm running the latest code for the remote agent for netware. My version from a "modules beremote.nlm" shows this:

Version 8.50 September 24, 2001

If this is not the correct version, can someone provide a link to where I'd download the latest version?

Thanks,
Mike

Run bediag.ext to generate a diagnostic file (bediat.txt). Then compare versions with http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/275247.htm

Almost the same procedure as sp1, but different versions

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I see my server version is correct, but how can I check the remote agent for netware version? Like i said, it says that it's version 8.50, while my server is at 9.1 - this seems incorrect. Thanks again.

Hello,

As Ken has said the version 8.5 or BENW is the latest released by Veritas for backup exec 9.x.
