will newest version affect old backup procedure?

I have a customer who is backing up to a Dell Robotic Media Library with 14 slots. I have it configured to backup each week to a specific media set. They received the update to 10.1 and want it installed - they do not intend on taking advantage of the backup to disk features at this time. If I install the update will my current backup solution continue to work as is?

What version are they currently running?

Any existing jobs being run should be migrated to the new version of BEWS. Should not effect jobs scheduling, job history, or restore selections.

...unless you are running a version (prior to 8.0) that does not support the upgrade to 10.1.

They are on 10.0

10.0 -> 10.1 should be a transparent upgrade
