windows 2000 server with NAS

I have a Windows 2000 server running a tape drive with backup exec software.
I am able to see and run all the workstations to it and the server aswell.
I have a NAS rack mounted server running Windows 2003.
I am unable to see the NAS through the veritas software it is greyed out.

The tape is physically attached to the Windows 2000 server not the NAS.

I have been told to upgrade to version 10 for this to work.

Can you help.

Hello,
Do you need to run backups to the NAS box? Please configure a backup to disk in order to do so.
