Did you mean:

configure GCO option after VCS installation

I have setup a 2 node cluster and now we will implement a second cluster on another site.
But according to the documentation, i should run the gcoconfig setup for creating the GCO resources.

However, this  "gcoconfig" executable is nowhere to be found on my system (/opt/VRTSvcs/bin)

Should i manually install depots for this?
Or did i miss something at the install?

How to solve..

thx in advance.
M.

IF you installed the software correctly, gcoconfig, fdsetup, fdsched should be there.

Have you licensed GCO so you can run gcoconfig?

I installed a local cluster through the installer

This cluster ran for a few months

Then i received the GCO key, installed it

and now i want to setup the GCO...

At the time of the installer nothing was asked about the GCO setup (probably because at that time the GCO key was not installed)

If you didn't enter a GCO key during install, no GCO questions are asked.

Not being an HP expert, I don't know why you don't see gcoconfig. It, along with fdsetup, fdsched, steward and probably wac should all be in /opt/VRTSvcs/bin.

Perhaps support can tell you if they are in a different install package in the HP version.

Issue solved... odd, but ok..

I installed the GCO key and reran the installvcs script and put all settings in as before.
And halfway through the GCO questions were asked.

Thx for your help
