What type of authentication are you using on your Exchange CAS server? Would it happen to be Integrated Windows Authentication?

Hi,

Where abouts would i check this? We only have a single server running exchange 2007, no additional CAS server.

I have checked under IIS on the Exchange 2007 box, default website and owa are set to basic authentication.

Thanks again.

You would check in the Exchange Management Console on the Client Access Servers pane. The reason I ask is that I've seen this type of unhandled exception occur when Integrated Windows Auth was used and constrained delegation was not configured.

Hi,

Serverconfig, client access, then properties of the exchange server, this is set to basic authentication

Owa set to forms based.

Well so much for my idea. Open a Support ticket.

I have a customer seeing the 1309 error but running 7.5 SP4.

Any further thoughts or solution?

Thanks!

Hi,

I Logged a call with Symantec about this, their only sugestion was to uninstall IIS and then re-install. As our server is live i have yet to try this. The errors dont seem to be causing any operational issues but if anyone finds a better solution than removing  IIS and re-installing i am all ears.

This error is to do with Vault Cache which is whay as an administrator you are not seeing any issues but there may possible be an issue with one or more of your clients and their vault cache setup.

Do you possibly have a lot of users that are currently downloading their vault cache at the same time?

Can you repro the error with a test user?

What do you see in the EV servers IIS log? You should see something like:-

GET /EnterpriseVault/DownloadContent.aspx
JobId=140BEEC5B1584F44EAB1D8B0E6BB36A2C1p10000EVPERTH 80
