Best way to backup a physical EV server?

Hi guys,

We're still running a very old EV version (10.0.4 which is still a Symantec actually) on a physical server.
Prior to the upgrade and to virtualizing that server, i'd like to know what's the best way to just backup the whole server just in case it crashes and we need to restore it back.
It's a Windows 2008r2

Thank you. Will taking an entire machine backup using Windows Server Backup do the trick?

Hi, it will not.

You will need to backup all EV directories and SQL databases.

Have a look at the guide posted before.

You will miss data if you do not backup acordingly
