Change a Notes ID for an archived user

Greetings,

Our customer has a recently married user and would like to change her username in Lotus Notes.  Their best practice is to simply create a new Notes ID, however this would be the first username change since activating Enterprise Vault.

Can anyone offer any tips/guidance on how to best accomplish this Notes username change while preserving access to the current EV user archive ?

Changing a user's name in Active Directory will have no effect on archiving and shortcut operations as long as the user's account ID is not changed

Also check the following setting
In your vault admin console --go the Domino mailbox policy --Click on the advance tab --
There is a setting for resetting the archive name which is by default set to ON
