DCOM error with 2003 SP1

Anyone know if there is a work around with the DCOM errors and having 2003 SP1 installed? Our only error happens when the placeholder service is started on the active node within a cluster. We then get 8 DCOM errors in succession (10021) and then the service starts fine. Uninstalling SP1 really isn't an option for us.

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
