EV 8 PST Migration

I'm using the Import PST Wizard and cannot get the pst to migrate.

Based on the Event log I found this article. But after walking through, still fails. Any ideas. Thanks.

Michel is right, we need to know what process you are using.

That said, it sounds like you are trying to use the Import Wizard.  If so, can you move the pst local to the EV server you are running the wizard from and try again?

it is for EV 2007 but is still applicable to EV 8.

Are you trying to import a large pst like in the article?

What events do you see?

Is this EV 8?

I'm getting 6609

the pst's are small, very small.

another item to consider:

I am trying to archive a pst from my workstation. The workstation is conncected via a vpn. FW rules?

I think I ruled out the FW rule issue. I tested it on another machine that is inside the net. same error.

rouute You haven't told us what exactly you are trying to do. Is this client driven migration? Server driven? If server driven, would the Server be able to access the workstation over VPN? (Are you able to access the PST File using the path specified in the VAC?) I definitely think it's a VPN issue. Cheers Michel

I am having a similar issue and not using the client driven ingestion.
