Event ID 40980 - error

I have file archiving scheduled to run for 2 hours each night. On occasion it doesn't run and I get the following error:

Event ID 40980
The folder attributes for the folder: \\?\UNC\server.domainname.com\D$\Public could not be accessed due to the following error: Error loading file stream: \\?\UNC\servername.domainname.com\D$\Public:EVArchivePoint.xml, error code: 64.

Where servername is my file server
domainname is my domainname
Public is a folder I was archiving

Any ideas? When you go to Symantec support it says that event number does not yet have a corresponding solution on this system, or it may require intevention from a SYMANTEC engineer.

\\?\UNC\server.domainname.com\D$\Public I take it thi sis probably targeted via volume in EV?

It may be corrupt Archive Points. However Error code 64 from what I can see sometimes can mean that it is not available.

Perhaps you can set up a trigger dtrace to capture this one night.

trigger on "the folder attributes for the folder: \\?\UNC\server.domainname.com\D$\Public could not be accessed " and leave everything else as default. 

Even if you do log a case probably support will ask for this.
