EV clients, windows 7 and outllook 2010...

Dear Experts,
I know there has already been a thread (now closed) on a similar subject, but I hope you'll forgive me.

We've got EV 7.5 SP3 and at the moment, not much hope of agreement for upgrade.

I've been asked which latest EV client will work successfully with the above EV server version, in a Windows 7 environment using either Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010 ?

Outlook 2010 EV Outlook Add-in will not exist until 9.0.1

Latest EV client would be 8 SP 4... however against a 2007 SP 3 server, you will not get Offline Vault.

Personally if the server is EV 2007 SP 3, I would go with the latest 2007 SP 6 client
