EV10/11 - Deduplication across different partitions?

I am looking at EV at the moment, and I would like to setup monthly partition rollovers, to reduce my monthly backup size.

I have read that EV has deduplication within its store, and I wanted to know if that spans partitions or not?

For example, if I have a large attachment that is archived to "Partition1" and then I rollover to "Partition2", if that same attachment is archived to "Partition2" for a different user, will deduplication be used or not?

Yes, EV will do Single Instancing across the Vault Store Partitions as well the Vault Stores if you set up the Vault Store Group that do so.
