EVPM INI File to Archive Additional Message Class

Hi,

We currently do not archive the IPM.Appointment message class, I would like to enable it but change the archiving rule to 2 years rather than our 90 days standard.

I have put together the below EVPM INI file but how do I specify the message class?

Do I have to set this policy on all mailboxes first and then change the Exchange Mailbox policy to include the IPM.Appointment message class? or can I include a message class in the filter?

I'm using EV 9.0.5.

Any help with would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

I guess in Exchange Mailbox policy you have to include the IPM.Appointment message class.

And then sync all mailbox.

Don't think that you need to include message filter in the EVPM script

Thanks for the reply A_J

My point is I don't want to add it to the mailbox policy if I don't have to, my preference is to just apply the IPM.Appointment message class archiving to specific mailboxes.

Do you know if this is possible via EVPM?

Hi EC at TW,

Try to check in you EVPM script and apply for one user and sync the user's mailbox and run the archive to check if it has archived calendar items.

Name = Calendar
CreateShortcut = false
DeleteOriginal = true
UnreadMAIL = true
UseInactivityPeriod = true
InactivityUnits = Months
InactivityPeriod = 21
