Email Archive Properties And Permissions

Enterprise Vault for Exchange 2007 Sp2.

Some individual's archive has more than one user listed, and this permission shows it was automatically set so i can't remove the additional user.  My quesition is, how does this permission get set? From their Exchange Mailbox? And how can I remove the additional permission? Because when I try to remove the permission that was automactically set it gives me an error message:

Account 'domain\username' cannot be removed as it has 'Automatically set' permissions associated with it.

Please advise.

Hi Don,

Enterprise Vault inherits permissions from Exchange.  So you will need to remove the permissions from AD and then run a synchronize and all will be sorted :)
