Email recovery from partition after rollover

Geoff_Hutchinso
Level 3

Hi,

This may be something I have missed somewhere, is it possible to extract all the email from a partition rollover if we need to undo the rollover.

We are reconfiguring the server to use more efficient disk storage and want to close off the existing partition and rollover to newer faster disks.

At this stage we have only created the new partitons on the disks, but if there is some issue with the configurastion after we rollover to this new partition, we would like to be able to reopen the existing partition and move the rolled over emails back into it so we can correct the problem.

Is this feasible or not.

Thanks for any assistance.

Geoff.

You can re-open the closed partition but you would have to manually move the now closed partition to a new drive.  You can't simply move the data, you have to move the entire partition.
