Enterprise Vault 10 - Database restore

Ok, so we have an instance where a couple of our vault store databases became corrupted.

 

We restored to the last known good backup, which was approximately 4 days before the present day. The issue is we now have 4 days worth of items in our Vault Store partitions that are not in the Vault Store database, and hence are not accessible due to no record  in the DB of the item that is in the vault store.

 

As we do Journal archiving, this may be somewhat problematic. Is there a way to use the EVSRV tool to recreate these pointers in the Vault Store DB given that the items are actually in the Vault store?

Yep, that is the way forward for you.

It is recommended to not start the Storage Service unless the Vault store is in backup mode.

You will run a Verify option first then the repair.  Have a look at this:
