I have a customer with entourage 7.x and EV 7.0 SP1. Based on the KB 273142 those version of MAC client are supported. is that mean there is a MAC client to install ? if not how the MAC client is getting the EV toolbar ?
There are no EV client installables for Mac. Support for Entourage is done with the help of universal shortcuts (cusotmized shortcut) within the policy settings option. The users will get a url within the preview pane which when clicked should pop open their email in a browser, where the EV buttons (restore, settings and help) will be visible. Mac users won't be able to manually archive. The EV buttons will be visible only in the archived mails unlike the buttons visible in Outlook in the menu and toolbar. The users can search their archived mails using the web app url.
