Hi,
The event is followed by event 7288:
Seems that it is a file (1,7 gb) that cannot be added to the index.
I have stoped the admin service and deleted the temp folder but as soon as I start the services again I see in the temp folder that the file is building up and the errors in the event log starts again.
Any ideas?

I ran a DTrace on the error and submit the file.
We run EV 9.0.1

Is this file a certain filetype, and do you normally index those filetypes? If you google that error, you see it's a windows reply, http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd542645(VS.85).aspx.
This TN gives info about excluding filetypes from Index conversion, http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO37400

Ok,
I can see in EV converters logs that the file has been converted to txt.
Unable to convert item content to HTML. The content has been converted to text

The content of this item failed conversion to HTML but has been successfully converted to text. The item will be archived normally but the preview available in the web application will be text rather than HTML
The file that has been archived was in a users recycle bin, is there any way to remove the item from the archive instead?

you could find it in archive explorer, then delete it from there..

Yes, but the problem is when I browse the archive from ArchiveExplorerui.asp the folder where the file should be is empty. :(.
I can see the .dvs file in the archive but not when I browse from IE.

We run EV against a Hcp archive (worm) so even if I could se the file EV does not allow me to delete the file until retention expired, however I can delete files directly on the cifsshare from Hcp.
