EventIDs in the EV eventlog may be the reason for archiving not working correctly

We have a few of these event ID in the EV-Log and it seems to stop the archiving tast. At least thats what I think - no mails are being archived/ marked for archived or deleted from the exchange mailbox.

Can anyone give us an idea whats wrong or what to do.

Hello Staun,

Looks like the mentioned DVS file is no longer available on storage.

E:\Enterprise Vault\MailArchive01\2009\02-12\6\04D\604D039464C29025DB38CEC1485EB591.DVS]

Look for the dvs file. If it is indeed missing, that is an indication of the error.

If that is the case, call Supoprt, explain the problem. They probably will send you VSVerify, which you can use to bring SQL in Sync with the available dvs files.

Good luck Gertjan

To add to Gertjan's message. If it is missing checl your backups and see if it is on tape so you can try recovering the file.

It might be as simple as that
