Getting duplicate emails in Outlook when Archiving Task Run

Hi,

Hope someone can help me figure out what I'm missing.

We created a Mailbox Policy that:

Do not delete original item after archiving

Do not create shortcut to archived item after archiving

But still creating duplicate email.

Symantec Enterprise Vault 11.0.1.3474 installed with 11.o.1 Hotfixes

By duplicates, you mean it creates the shortcuts and also keeps the original email?

Yes it does creates the shorcut and kepps the original email.

We just wanted the original email to seen.

Hi Ton,

Can you confirm the Exchange policy-Properties\Archiving Actions tab, Create Shortcut... checkbox is disabled (see attached)?

Edit: Also, Delete original items after archiving checkbox must be disabled.

Great.

Next thing to check is if this policy is actually being applied to the pilot user.

You can see this if you go to Common Tasks pane and then select at Displayed policies assigned to mailboxes

Hi Virgil_CBS,

It seems that it is now working but with slight delay, well we can manage.

I found a new hotfix5 as I browse the net, earlier I just installed hotfix. It seems that the hotfix5 solved my issue.
