Items in pending State

Dear's,

I have moved few archives from EV Site A (EV 9) to Site B (EV 10), move operation successfully completed but after verifying on few user machines I found some emails with archive pending state.

What is the reason behind it and how can I resolve this is issue ?

Have you ran backups on Site B?  The pending item typically means the vault store partitions have not been backed up.

It might not ever go to a full shortcut item if it was archived in site A You may just want to cancel the items and then rearchive them

Hi Danish,

If the items were in pending before moving the archive or after moving the archive but you have never run an archiving task in site B, then you need to cancel those items since they were archived in Site A. If the items were in pending after you move the archive and you know that those items were archived in Site B, you need to verify your backup settings, confirm that the backups are running and check that (1) the archive bit is being removed or (2) the trigger file is being created in the root of the partition based on the backup method you are using.
