PST Locator and Client Driven migration through firewall

Hi,

Anyone get issue to perform PST Locator and/or Client Drive migration on client behind a firewall (dmz) or a client whith personnal firewall activated ?

My question is more..is it workls or do i have to open some ports on each client (PF) to perform this action ?

On the windows firewall you need to allow file and printer sharing. You can set the scope to only allow certain machines to connect for this as well.

Or allow access for the EV servers on TCP 139/445 and UDP 137/138.

You will also need to have the remote registry service enabled to enable the services to get a listing of the local disks and PST entries in the registry
