Replace Vault Server

Hello,
That the harware is getting old and slow we though that we could replace our second Vault Server. ( the one without the directory service).
Could someone explain me how this has to be done '

You can follow the disaster recovery procedures listed in the Administrator_guide.pdf file located in the documentation folder of the V6 CD.

Essentially though, all you need to do is build the new server, make sure you make everything identical, same computer name and make all the drive letters and paths the same. Copy all your EV data over, (i.e. vault stores, indexes), install EV and run the configuration. When you point the configuration program to the existing SQL server, it should say it already detects the EnterpriseVaultDirectory database and it'll ask you if you are installing new or doing a repair, choose repair and the configuration will then create all the necessary EV services on the new hardware and you'll be good to go.
