There are some PSTs which get failed while Migrating(Please check Event log.)
These are the most common ones besides password protected PSTs.
The event log are not friendly !!!
Is there a work around ??

Jonny,
Please post your version of Enterpeise Vault as well as the Event Log errors you are seeing. We then might be able to help you.

"Number of items not eligible for archiving: 1114"
Can you open that PST up and see what message classes are in there please?

I would review your requirements and the PST Migration policy to ensure that Message Classes that are not being migrated are indeed intentional.
I am guessing you aren't using shortcuts for this migration.
Just to re-itterate, check your PST migration policy to ensure you are indeed migrating message classes you want to, and as Wayne said, check the classes of messages in the PST file to ensure you aren't missing data you want to migrate.

As the other guys are saying... this:
Number of items not eligible for archiving: 1114
USUALLY means that there are message classes in the PST file which aren't in the list of message classes for PST Migration. For example .. Calendar items.

I agree very much with the capitalised USUALLY here thinking about it.
Looking at that log - and I may have to have another look internally to see if I am right - but a failed migration due to purely the message classes not being included shows as Incomplete - but successful with the tag of "PST NOT deleted" instead of the 'Processing aborted due to an unrecoverable error.' message shown in this log.
This particular message (Processing aborted due to an unrecoverable error.) I have seen most commonly caused by a corrupt item / message within the PST, the task aborting, etc.
If I get a minute, I will confirm this and report back.

You might be right there PST.A.
A PST that I created with only ineligible items resulted in :

Every item in Exchange or Outlook has a message class associated with it. Mail messages are ipm.note, calendar items are ipm.calendar..etc..etc..
EV is only set to archive the default message classes. If these items are special message classes, then the migration mail fail. To check what message class these items are , open the PST in Outlook and customize your view to include the message class field.
When you find what message class they are, check in EV if those message classes are set to archive. To check, in the Vault Admin Console, right click on Directory and click properties. I believe the advnaced tab will show you what message classes are archived.
