Hi

Is there anyone experienced an PST import issue with EV 11.0.1 CHF2 with MS outlook 2013 SP1 and SQL 2014 ?

The error from dtrace highlighted from Senior support as below:

8643       17:09:05.042       [4236]  (MigratorServer)              <12836>               EV:M                {CSavesetOnIStg::ReadStreamedPropertyBin:#528} (Exit) Property [CHGuid] not found.

They don't have any clue even repaired the binary and zap the permission.

Please advise.

Thanks in advance

Best Regards,

Tony Wu

Hi Tony,

This might indicate a corrupted PST, or perhaps a very large PST.

If very large, try splitting it in smaller parts.

You could run scanpst on the pst, to see if it is ok. Most likely, the issue is with the PST, and not with EV.

Hi GertjanA Pst scan has been verified the pst has no issue with technical support team The pst file size is small which is below 2GB Is there any issue if the exchange quota is enabled in the exchange? As the testing account is empty with mailbox size limit 2GB Thx Tony W.

Hi Tony,

If the quota is not large enough, then you would get that reported in the eventviewer and the log file.

It is however worth a try. If you enlarge the quota (or take it away all together), then import, does it then work?

Do you have the required pst tasks under that server's listed tasks https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.HOWTO108260

Hi Rambone,

Yes, we confirmed with Technical support already and they don't have any clue over 3 weeks already

Hi GertjanA,

It still failed with larger quota

Thanks

Hi Tony,

I don't have any new advice on this, sorry. What I would try as last resort:

Open the PST file on a machine in Outlook.

Create a new empty PST file on the same machine. Move all items from the original PST to the new PST. Try importing that new PST.
