Recover email from Journal

Hi All,

Last year I recovered few emails for of the user from Journal; because emails been deleted from the archived mailbox; I want to do the sam ething now by I forgot how to access the webpage internally in order to go to the journaling.

Http://localhost/enterprisevault is not working; could some one please advise what is the default link to access journal. From there I know search the required email -> add into the basket and restore...

Your help would be highly appreciated.

If I read the question correctly you need http://localhost/enterprisevault/search.asp . However depening onthe size of you journal you are going to be there for some time.

You can use http://locahost/enterprisevault/search.asp?Advanced This gives you slightly more to play with if you know the EV related details of the item you are trying to find. eg savesetid, seq num

Well you link is correct if you are logged on to the EV server, unless you are using HTTPS.

you could use http://evserveralias/enterprisevault/search.asp?advanced

Just put in the EV server alias and you should be good to go.

Yes that's the one, but unfortunately its not working and keep throwing me to the page "Internet Explorer cannot display the page"

I went through the IE history and found one of the old page: http://localhost/enterprisevault/restorebasket.asp?id=20110915130339368 ; when I restored it last time.

Could you advise if I want to double check any thing any service to know why the link is not working any more?

Hi I had to reboot the server because nothing was working right; every thing is working fine now. Thanks all for the Help.
