Removing all Enterprise Vault shortcuts (9.0.2) in preparation for Office 365

I am tasked with removing all our staff's shortcuts in their mailbox in preparation of moving them into Office 365.   We have a policy that a shortcut is created after an email is archived and that shortcut exists in the user's mailbox for 1 year.

Currently I created a mailbox policy to delete these shortcuts but I cannot remove all of them, I still have to leave 1 day.   Any ideas / experience in removing these shortcuts?

I think it's by desgin that only shortcuts older than one day can be deleted. Solution is to wait a day and run shortcut deletion again?

I assume you've stopped creating new shortcuts...

Why not just stop creating shortcuts?  Then you don't need to delete any...

Thank you Jolaine and Rob.  Kind of a no brainer to just stop creating new shortcuts.  Appreciate the answer to a dumb question!!
