SQL Authentication

Hi guys

I've always wondered if EV supports SQL Authentication, e.g. when using some sort of shared SQL Infrastructure at a hosting facility when there is no trust between the SQL Server and the EV Server.

Hi Michel,

I believe it does support SQL Auth. should be easy enough to test in a lab environment.

If you have SQL access to that server I can't see why it won't work.

Thought I must say that in most cases companies I work with don't like the idea of SQL authentication and they prefer the AD integrated.

I know that I can get it to work.
Messing with the ODBC entries is not that difficult.

Question is if it is supported, and you would get support from SYMC for it :)

And the answer is no, it isn't supported by Symantec - maybe something to add to the Ideas section?
