Search Vault for messages in a specific date range

Is there a way to specify a date range in the 'Search Vaults' in the Outlook add-in? I do not see a way to do it in the advanced find dialogue.

no, unfortunately
however you could use the homepage of your Outook instead, for instance what i do is

1. Open up outlook
2. Right click "Mailbox - your name"
3. Go to properties then click the Home Page tab
4. Enter the URL of your Search page (i.e http://yourEVServer/EnterpriseVault/Search.asp)
5. Press OK

now every time i click my mailbox icon, rather than getting Outlook today page, i get the full browser page
you can actually do that for any folder you want, just make sure Show Homepage is checked
