I have a former employee who is coming back to the company. All his Active Directory information has been deleted, but his archive is still in existence. Is there anything special I have to do so I don't mess up Enterprise Vault? whenI enable his mailbox will a new archive be created or will his mailbox be assoicated with the existing archive?

Due to th old GUID still being assoicated with the Archive YOu have to adjust the registry according to this article:http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH54529&actp=search&viewlocale=en_U...

if you enable him manually you can use the "select archive" feature and associate his new AD/Exchange account with his old archive
