I have an evpm policy to archive items after 4 and delete the items after another 4 days, giving me a retention of 8 days. The site setting is set to expire items all day on Sat and Sun. Shortcut deletion is set to run on Sun after the expire job has finished. However, the shortcuts are not being removed from the mailboxes even after the job finishes.
One problem I might see is I have a check mark under the following: Delete shortcuts in private mailboxes. When it ask to enter an age I have it set at three years, matching a different policy.
My goal is to remove shortcuts as items are removed from EV. We have multiple policies with different retentions.
