Some Users Just Wont Archive

Not applicable
Hi

We are running EV 8 (sp1) and some of our users never seem to be archived. They have been provisioned, they have an archive but nothing is ever put in there. We have disabled archiving, deleted them, re-enabled them on more than one occasion but archiving just doesn't happen.

Is there a way I can just archive 1 person or 5 specific people?

Does anyone have any troubleshooting tips they would like to share. Right now it's driving me a bit bonkers.....

Right click the Archive task and choose Run Now.  From there you will be able to choose to run in Report or Normal mode and All Users or Selected Users.

You should do a Run Now in Report Mode for the Users in question and then see what the report says. This is a good tech note about the report:

After reading the report you should know if they have anything to archive.

Cheers,

Hi Steve,

Make sure that users are not in suspended mode, as Tony mentioned run the task in report mode and see the report and see whether the user in suspend mode or not. If user is in suspended mode then task will not be able to archive when it runs so you have to remove the user from suspended mode. You can do it from the outlook.

Ameen.
