The backup of vault store is too long!

Hello all
The size of my Vault store is about 230 GB, its backup take more than 6hours, is it common? As the archive�s format is DVS, is it the real cause? How can I convert them on CAB?
I add that we are using CA/brightStore as backup software

Assume your backup throughput in around 800MB/min, therefore 6 hrs for 230GB is more or less common.

The file format that used by EV is .DVS file. If you want them to be packaged into CAB file, you need to enable "File Collection" to collect files older than (say 10 days) into a CAB file.

You could also close the existing partition and create a new one. Then your 230GB one would only need backed up weekly or so, as at that point it would not be activily written to.
