Some IT administrators moved mailbox from an external Infrastructure to our Exchange Server

On old system, some users had they mailbox enabled to EV. After the move on our Exchange server these users received the message "This version of the Enterprise Vault add-in is not compatible with the Enterprise Vault server (V0)" when launch outlook. EV add-in is updated but It try to connect to an old EV server (version 7!). These mailbox are not enabled on our EV server.

is There  a way to know the name of old EV server? In the EV log the name of EV server doesn't appear.

We don't have access to old EV server console.

is it possibile to remove the connection to old EV server on the mailbox?

thanks

Hi, can you elaborate how the move was done? We need more information here

Why do you need the old server name?

What Exchange are you using? You may want to look at the compatibility chart.

Hi,

You can get this information from the hidden message in the mailbox. Have a look on this article: https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100018108

Or, you could enable EV Outlook client logging and get the information in the log. You can refer this technote: https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100030953
