UPGRADE EV 9.0.1 Failed on VaultStoreDB

Hello, I just upgraded on EV8 SP4 to 9.0.1

3 servers with 8 Vaultstore

The 2 first Servers and VaultStore DB : OK

The last one failed on the first VaultStore DB upgrade with following ID

First : 8596

I have checked the Partitioncache table in the vaultstore DB, it is empty

I have to try to restore the DB before the upgrade (The table contain information)

When the storage service start, the process failed again..and table is empty...cool...

IF someone have a idea... (I have already open a case..but still waiting since 3H in live call emergency..)

In all honesty with the amount of issues i'm seeing, if you can hold off on upgrading i would definitely recommend it

Hi JW,

What sort of issues are you seeing? We're planning an upgrade to EV9.01 Q1 2011. We will do testlab upgrade next week.

After Webex...no issue for the moment,

the VaultStore_8_Programming script is ok from the SQL server side...but when for EV..failed...

I try to use alternate server (by activating the building blocks) to see if binarie issue, but when the other server start the Storage service..it s failing too..

We will rollback, and mount a test plateforme, give you a feed back when find a solution.

do you know if this issue exists only from 8sp4 to 9.01? have you considered upgrading to 8sp5 and then to 9.01?
