I have netapp storage and have CIFS shares enabled on that. User have Shared directories on that and they can share and store there files over there.

Now when we try to add Netapp storage in file server we are unable to do so.

So can you browse to the file server from the EV server as the VSA?

What permissions does the VSA have on the server?

What version are you on?
Someone else mentioned with NetApp for PST scanning it was trying to go to c$ and that EV was treating it as if it was a win32 machine

Saqib,

There is no guarantee that Symantec Support will respond in this forum. If this issue is that urgent for you, you better contact Symantec Technical Support.

Can you post a dtrace while adding the NetApp to EV ?

For which option you need DTrace logs.
Let me know i will post the DTrace logs.

Case was already registered with Symantec and now waiting for there response.

You are already waiting more than a week to get a responce from Symantec ?
I would escalate this.....

There are several FSA options in Dtrace. Not sure what to choose, just try some and see if you can see more details in the error.
