Upgrading EV v7.5 on a Win 2003 server to EV 8.0 SP5 on a Win server 2008 R2

Hi All,

I've been asked to plan the upgrade of our current EV environment.

Currently Window server 2003, EV 7.5,

First upgrade will be to EV 8.0 SP5 on a window server 2008 R2 box

Ive read most of the Upgrade Instructions.pdf but I haven't started the upgrade process yet.

What I want to know is, If I install EV 8.0SP5 on the 2008R2 box is there a step where it pulls over the current EV7.5 data from the 2003 server box, or have I missed a step in the upgrade instructions?

Hello

EV does not pull over data. That is something you need to do yourself. If you use SAN/NAS, attach existing ones to new server.

If yuo have local disks, move disks

if other, copy data.. Make sure to use same driveletters and folderstructure!

You will need to firstly upgrade from EV2007 to EV8 SP5 on the current server.
