User mailbox not appearing in Sync options

Hi all,

I have a client that has EV 10.0.4 installed targeting Exchange 2007 and one 2013 box. Strange this is that when you try and sync a mailbox the mailbox does not appear. But if you choose to change the system mailbox you can see the mailbox. ALso you cannot see the mailbox in either the disable or enable mailbox options.

 

Any ideas?

sounds like there might be an issue with provisioning. that's the first place i'd look.

Put the ExchangePolicySyncTask in dtrace mode and run the sync. Please attach the log here.

pardon the silly question but how do you do that?

Before you go through that, on the properties of the Provisioning Task on the Reports tab make sure it is in Full.  If it isn't, set it to Full and restart.

Then, right click it and do a run now in normal mode.

View the report and look for the persons name you are trying to sync.  The reports will be in a folder in the Program Files x86\Enterprise Vault install directory

Just did that and noted that the users has the following comment.

The mailbox GUID does not match the entry in the database

performing the following
