Windows 2012 R2 support for EV

Hello Symantec support,

The EV compatibility chart dated May 2, 2014 appears to indicate that EV 10.0.4 is now supported for installation on the Windows 2012 R2 platform.  Can you confirm that this is correct ?

This is a peer to peer forum and whilst there are Symc employees on here if you want an official answer you would need to contact support.

That said, if it is in the Compatibility doc it is supported.  That is an official Symantec document.  Be sure to note the footnotes. 

For EV 10 is has this:

e. Requires Enterprise Vault 10.0.4 or later service pack.

For EV 11 it is still Pending

As Tony says, this isn't an official Symantec Support forum, it's peer to peer.

However, the Compatibility Guide says 'yes, it is supported'.  So, yes, it is supported.

And that is why I said you would need to contact support directly. Everything posted on the forum is a "general inquiry".

Hi john, It is supported with the caveats noted in the compatibility doc.
