Wrong name for the Index service

Hello,

We just removed a old EV server from our Site and moved all is roles and services onto the new one. 

What I see now is that the index service display name on the new server still refer to the old one ( Index service on "oldevserver" ).

I would like to know where I can change this.

Check out the IndexingServiceEntry table in EnterpriseVaultDirectory database.

But there is everything IO.
This is why I was wondering if it is safe to juast change the "current control" set Display name.

Sure, if its the display name you after you can rename it in the admin console, just double click the service and change the name :)

Sorry if I didn't explained clearly in the VAC is everything correct the problem is only in the services.mmc this is why I wanted to be sure this would have no interference wit the EV business. I think this should be OK as they are not supposed to work with the display name.
