archiving did not work for a lot of users!

Hello all,

yesterday i've enabled a lot of users in ad and EV
This morning, i look at them and they ware not archived.
I have a lot of this issues and no errors in the event.
i do not understand why this happend. All settings are correct, the same as all the other users.

group= ok
accessrights= ok
enabled in AD= OK
enabled for archiving= ok
run provisioning task= ok
errors= no errors

Some things to check

1. What are the archiving rules,

i.e. Are you using aged based archiving if so what is the age at which an email will be archived - Have the emails been imported from PST or modified in anyway so they have become out of scope of the archiving policy, you can check the modified date by customizing your view in outlook

2. If you run the archive task in report mode agaisnt one of the users what does the report say will be archived

Archiving rules:
archive All mails older then 30 days.
delete the original mail.
Leave a shortcut in mailbox
Archiving targets -> all users in group "GU_EV_standardprofile"

Provisioning task run every day -> 12:00 and 00:00

Archiving task -> site settings -> every night 00:15 - 4:30

the users that i've enabled yesterday never have  an archive before.
After enabling the users i checked the members  "Gu_ev_standardprofile"
Access for the evault user to the mailboxes
enabling mailboxes for archiving.
archives are visible in EVM.
but no archived mails on the next day
the provisioning task in report mode have found the new mailboxes and list the correct group.
i will check the archive task in report mode and post the results asap
when i start the task against one of the users, sometimes archiving works fine, but only for this time.
After that, no auto archiving
all mailboxes are migrated from exchange 2003
the pst's are been imported to the mailboxes.
i have approx.1200 mailboxes without this issues with the same settings.

i am home at the moment but i check the policys on monday for more details.

 What are the results of a run now in report mode against these targets?

What does your RULES tab show? 

And if I understand you correctly, when you do a report mode run it tells you a bunch of stuff will be archived, but when you do an actual run now in normal mode.. NOTHING gets archived?

i have no problems (anymore) when i "run now" in normal mode
even the mailboxes with the problem archiving in "run now" mode
the problem start with the shedule run in the night (every night from 00:15 - 04:00)

I think what you need to do is gather a dtrace of the archivetask during the scheduled run.  You can post it to the topic here, but at this stage it might be better if you worked directly with Support?
