What are the steps for moving users from one exchange server in an OLD domain to a new trusted domain within the same forest?

If I Keep the EV6 server in the old domain, will users reach their vulted mail from the new domain. What steps do I need to perform to make sure this will work?

If I just move mailboxes from old to NEW domain. Do I need to configure anything on my OLD EV server?

If I install a new EV server in the NEW domain, and want to switch off the OLD EV server in the old domain, what are the steps for doing this?

Has anyone had success moving EV to a new domain?

Disable the user in EV, move the mailbox, re-enable the user.

Keeping the existing server in the old domain will work fine and in fact will be a lot easier from an admin perspective.

If you install a new EV server you will have to edit the metadata to ensure that your existing archives use the storage and indexing service on the new EV server.
